German shoulder and elbow arthroplasty

The German Shoulder Endoprosthesis Registry (SPR) and the German Elbow Endoprosthesis Registry (EPR) are commissioned by the D-A-CH Association for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE). The SPR has been in existence since 2006 and has been operated under the patronage of DVSE since 2012 and is undergoing continuous conceptual development. Its main tasks are the maintenance, further development and continuous updating of the arthroplasty registries as well as coordination of data evaluation from the registries.
The registry makes an important contribution to ensuring patient safety, quality assurance, quality of outcomes, and compliance with current and future legal requirements.
In principle, all members of the DVSE are entitled to participate.
