French hip arthroplasty (SOFCOT)
The hip arthroplasty registry of the French Orthopaedic Society (SOFCOT) has been active since 2006. Even though it is not a compulsory national register, covering only a limited number of participating services, it functions as a quality assurance instrument for participating health service providers and a post-market surveillance system for the orthopaedic industry.
We produce annual overview reports for participating surgeons as well as biennial scientific reports for the French Orthopaedic Society.
